Suffragan David Parker II, Senior Pastor of Zion is a gifted leader, minister, teacher, business professional, author, musician and motivational speaker. His mission, whether in the church or the marketplace, is to uplift and encourage people to develop their God-given potential to the fullest.

He married Vera Lynette Parker in 1988. They are the proud parents of Dawn, Danielle, David, and Daniel.

He accepted the call to pastor ZION, his home church in May 2010, succeeding his father, Bishop David Parker, who founded the church and served as senior pastor for 44 years.

Pastor Parker’s 20-year career has been in banking and financial services, with several institutions including FirstMerit, KeyCorp and JPMorgan Chase. He is active in his community and has served in a leadership capacity on numerous boards and philanthropic organizations. Pastor Parker holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Malone University.

First Lady Vera Parker is a graduate from the University of Akron & Malone University. She is a Senior level IT Professional with experience in industries such as Healthcare, Warehouse/3PL, Transportation, Retail, Automotive and Government with knowledge in the areas of Finance and Supply Chain. Results Oriented, Planner, Strategic, Seasoned, Teacher, Advisor, and Trainer, are often words that have been used to describe her over the course of her career.
